Thuso Study Published by the Commonwealth Secretariat
'The Commonwealth Guide to Mediation: A Resource for Practitioners and Policy-makers', authored by Thuso colleagues Matthew Goldie-Scot, and Alexandra Tigan, has been published by The Commonwealth Secretariat, with contributions from an expert advisory panel comprising Mark Beer, OBE, Shawn Desker (Thuso Group’s general counsel), Dipna Gunnoo and Anika Gray, as well as research support from the wider Thuso team.
This work demonstrates Thuso's growing Governance and Rule of Law Practice, building on related Rule of Law work, with input on Dr Roger Koranteng's 'Combatting Corruption in the Commonwealth Caribbean', also published by the Commonwealth Secretariat, as well as Thuso's wider portfolio of work with the Commonwealth Secretariat, UN Agencies, and other Intergovernmental Organisations.

Thuso wins 2022 EducationInvestor: School Improvement Provider Award
Thuso is the Winner of the EducationInvestor 2022 ‘School Improvement Provider’ Award.
The award was received on Tuesday, 8 November by Thuso’s Managing Director, Matthew Goldie-Scot, Head of Operations, Alexandra Tigan, and Dubai-based Consultant, Leticia Salmon, who attended the awards ceremony at The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London.
Thuso was also shortlisted for the Consultant - Strategy Award. Both Leticia Salmon and Alexandra Tigan were Finalists in this year’s Awards, in the ‘Woman to Watch’ and ‘Business Woman of the Year’ categories, respectively.

Thuso's Managing Director served as Speaker and Panellist as part of the 'Week of International Partnership Initiatives on the Topic: Uzbekistan - Development, Innovation, and Enlightenment, Healthy and Educated Society'
Thuso's Managing Director, Matthew Goldie-Scot, was invited by the Government of Uzbekistan to serve as a Speaker and Panellist on 'Human Capital: Global Problems and Development Trends', as part of a wider panel of speakers. The session formed part of the wider 'Week of International Partnership Initiatives on the Topic: Uzbekistan - Development, Innovation, and Enlightenment, Healthy and Educated Society’.
This builds on Matthew’s wider and ongoing work in Uzbekistan, where he has been actively involved in education reform for many years, in areas including Curriculum Reform, National Assessment Strategy, COVID-19 Response, and support for the development of the Uzbekistan National Partnership Compact for Education Reform, on behalf of UNICEF, working closely with development partners, including the Global Partnership for Education, The World Bank, Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), as well as a wide range of donors.

Thuso team presented with award in recognition of the recent Public Administration and Governance Guest Lecture Series at MBRSG
Thuso hosted Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government's Associate Professor Dr. Racquel Warner, and Associate Professor Dr. Arthur King, Director of Academic Affairs, to Thuso's Offices in Emirates Towers today, for the presentation of an award in recognition of the recent Public Administration and Governance Guest Lecture Series, developed in partnership with Thuso.
Lectures spanned a range of topics, from Evidence-based Policy Development, to Climate Issues, with inputs from senior members of the Thuso consultancy team including Matthew Goldie-Scot, Charles E. Schulze, Matej Damborsky, Nina Schoonman, and Dan O'Brien.
Thuso anticipates a wide range of further collaboration in future, and is most grateful to have had this opportunity to engage with leading Students of Public Administration and Public Policy, Academics, Researchers, Diplomats, Employees in the local and Federal government, Global Governance Consultants, and other Stakeholders throughout the Middle East, and Internationally.

MBRSG and Thuso launch Public Administration & Governance lecture series
The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has partnered with Thuso to launch a Public Administration & Governance lecture series. The first lecture in the series, titled ‘Ethics, Public Value, and Accountability in Policy Development and Implementation’, will be delivered on 10 March by Matthew Goldie-Scot and Matej Damborsky, two of Thuso’s senior partners, in a session moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Racquel Warner. The virtual session will take place on Zoom, and those interested to attend can register at the link below.
